Pampas, Coast and Paraná Delta Birding Tour

About this tour

A wide-ranging Buenos Aires Province birding journey linking the Paraná River Delta, pampas grasslands, native woodland, Punta Rasa and the Atlantic coast.

Beginning and ending in Buenos Aires, the route connects the Paraná River Delta to the northwest with the Atlantic coast and Punta Rasa wetlands to the southeast, visiting productive birding sites between them.

With more than 400 bird species, numerous reserves and extensive natural landscapes, the province offers pampas grasslands, native riparian and Espinal woodland, marine shoreline, lagoons and freshwater wetlands.

The coastal section reaches Punta Rasa at the outer limit of the Río de la Plata estuary and continues toward Mar Chiquita, Mar del Plata and Tres Arroyos. The route is adapted to the season because northern migrant shorebirds arrive during the local spring and summer, while southern migrants and large goose flocks become important during autumn and winter.

Buenos Días Birding presents this as a tailor-made itinerary. Exact availability, accommodation, transport, inclusions and the final quote are confirmed after a BirdWatch.info inquiry.
