Atlas Pied Flycatcher, Ficedula speculigera, breeds in Morocco to Tunisia and spends the nonbreeding season in western Africa. It is a member of the Muscicapidae, the chats and Old World flycatchers, and is part of the Passeriformes. This species was once treated as a form of the European pied flycatcher, but is now recognised as distinct. It is noted for the large white areas on the wing and forehead.
