Black-breasted Mannikin, Lonchura teerinki, is a passerine in the Estrildidae family and breeds in montane western New Guinea. It is endemic to West Papua, Indonesia, and is also known as the black-breasted munia. The bird is associated with subtropical and tropical lowland dry shrubland, as well as high-altitude grassland. Its recorded range covers an estimated 20,000 to 50,000 km2. Rand described the species in 1940.
