Fox's Weaver, Ploceus spekeoides, is a bird of Uganda in the weaver family. It breeds in Africa: Uganda and is found in moist savanna, seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, and swamps. It was described in 1947 by Grant and Mackworth-Praed as a distinct species closely related to Ploceus spekei. A specimen from Teso in eastern Uganda was collected in 1913 and later passed to the British Museum of Natural History in 1923. Habitat loss threatens it.
