Fulmar Prion, Pachyptila crassirostris, is a seabird of the Procellariidae family and the order Procellariiformes, living in the Southern Ocean. It breeds on Heard Island in the south-west Indian Ocean and on outlying New Zealand islands. The species is a prion, and its name refers to the bill, with the scientific name meaning thick-beaked. It was described by Mathews in 1912.
