Fulvous-vented Euphonia, Euphonia fulvicrissa, is a finch of Middle America and north-western South America, breeding from Panama south to north-west Ecuador. It was first described by P. L. Sclater in 1857. The species belongs to the Fringillidae and is a small euphonia. It occurs in tropical evergreen forest and secondary growth, including the interior, edges and clearings, from sea level to 900 m in Panama and Colombia, and to 500 m in Ecuador. Its range is split among three subspecies, with the northern form reaching western Colombia.
