Legge's Flowerpecker, Pachyglossa vincens, is a resident breeding bird of Sri Lanka in the flowerpecker family Dicaeidae. It lives in forests, other well-treed places and gardens. A small passerine, it is a common breeding species there. It was first described by Sclater, PL, in 1872. The bird is also called the white-throated flowerpecker, and it was once placed in the genus Dicaeum. In Sri Lanka it is known as Lanka Pilalichcha in Sinhala, and it has appeared on a one rupee Sri Lankan postage stamp.
