Little Slaty Flycatcher, Ficedula basilanica, is a bird of the East Visayas and Mindanao group in the southern Philippines, where it lives in tropical moist lowland forest. It is a member of the Muscicapidae. Males are slaty grey, while females are light brown. The species is usually secretive and solitary, keeping to dense foliage and the low understory near the forest floor. Its diet includes insects and other small invertebrates, though little else is known. It is threatened by habitat loss.
