Speckled Warbler, Pyrrholaemus sagittatus, is a passerine of the Acanthizidae family that breeds in southeastern Australia, from south-east Queensland to south-west Victoria. It was first named by Latham in 1801. The bird is found in open eucalypt woodland with rocky gullies, tussock grass, scattered logs and sparse shrub cover. It is a small, ground-feeding warbler with a streaked chest, and its plumage is marked by speckling and dark barring. It is also known by several other common names, including blood tit, chocolate-bird, little fieldwren and speckled jack.
