White-bearded Flycatcher, Phelpsia inornata, is a passerine of northern Venezuela, where it is a resident bird of the Llanos and nearby open country with scattered trees, small woods, gallery forest and ranchland. It also occurs in Colombia, but its breeding range in the supplied record is Venezuela. It is the only species in Phelpsia. The bird has a white throat that looks full, a white eyebrow that runs well beyond the eye, and a brownish black head with olive-brown upperparts. It is often seen near ranch buildings and is known to remain in the same area throughout the year.
