White-fronted Black Chat, Oenanthe albifrons, is a passerine in the family Muscicapidae and breeds across western, central and eastern Africa. It is found in the Sudan region and uses moist savanna as well as subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. The species was once placed in Myrmecocichla, but later work showed it belongs in Oenanthe, leading to its transfer into that genus.
