White-spotted Wattle-eye, Platysteira tonsa, is a passerine in the wattle-eye family Platysteiridae and breeds in Africa from southern Nigeria through Gabon and Congo to eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was described by Bates, GL, in 1911. It is associated with moist forest, including lowland and montane types. Its range also extends into Cameroon, the Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea and Ivory Coast.
