About this tour

This journey combines Assam’s floodplain reserves with four nights inside Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary. The opening section moves through Manas, Kakoijana, Orang and Nameri, building a mix of grassland, wetland, river and foothill forest before the climb into Arunachal Pradesh.

Lama and Bompu camps provide access to different elevations in Eaglenest, where slow forest birding replaces the earlier jeep-safari rhythm. The final descent leads to Kaziranga for two full safari days, adding extensive grassland and wetland coverage before departure.

Private transfers, an English-speaking escort, local guiding, listed park entries and activities, accommodation and the stated meals form the supplied package. Eaglenest uses serviced tented camps and can involve uneven trails and changeable mountain conditions. Current permits, dates and price are confirmed through BirdWatch.info.
