Private Full-Day Cabo Corrientes Birding Tour
A private full day across Cabo Corrientes, selecting productive pine-oak, semi-deciduous, thorn-forest or coastal sites for seasonal birds and photography.
About this tour
Spend a private full day birding the varied landscapes of Cabo Corrientes with Paradise Birding. From the semi-deciduous forest around Rancho Primavera, the wider region reaches uphill into pine-oak forest and descends through coastal thorn forest toward the Pacific shore. This rapid habitat change allows a route to be shaped around seasonal birds, photography goals and current local reports.
Steve Shunk and Lizzy Martinez guide throughout Cabo Corrientes and know its backroads, geography and birding sites. The official regional overview records 34 birding hotspots and 488 reported species, but a one-day outing visits only a carefully selected part of that network. The destination for each departure is therefore confirmed after inquiry rather than presented as a fixed circuit.
Possible highlights vary with elevation and season. Official Paradise Birding material from the area documents Pacific-slope birds such as Golden-cheeked Woodpecker, Rosy Thrush-Tanager, Berylline and Cinnamon hummingbirds, and Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl. These are examples from the region, not promised targets. The outing can emphasize broad bird diversity, regional specialties or photography while keeping the route realistic for weather and road conditions.
The published fee is the current full-day guiding rate for one to three guests and excludes meals for the guide or guides. Meeting arrangements, transport, destination choice and any other costs are confirmed in the final proposal through BirdWatch.info.
