Private 16-Day Annapurna, Chitwan and Kathmandu Birding Tour
A sixteen-day private birding journey linking Kathmandu Valley, the Annapurna foothills, Pokhara and Chitwan’s lowland habitats.
About this tour
Follow Nepal’s birdlife from Kathmandu Valley into the Annapurna foothills and then south to the lowland forest and wetlands of Chitwan. The route combines short birding walks, a lodge trek, mountain scenery and national-park wildlife activities.
Lower Phulchauki introduces the valley’s forest birds before the journey continues through Pokhara and the Annapurna Conservation Area. Several walking days move through community forest, farmland and river valleys around Thulokot, Landruk, Ghandruk and Tadapani, with time for raptors and forest species.
The final section explores Chitwan National Park by jeep, canoe and on foot as conditions permit. The operator’s published price and fixed dates are from an older schedule, so BirdWatch leaves the current price and departure on request pending Vimal’s confirmation.
