Private 17-Day Langtang and Gosainkunda Birding Trek
A seventeen-day birding trek through Langtang National Park and the Gosainkunda high country, with time for forest, river and alpine species.
About this tour
Enter Langtang National Park on a bird-focused trek that moves slowly enough to explore forest, riverside and high Himalayan habitat. The route begins with a Kathmandu Valley birding session before travelling to Syabrubesi and following the Langtang trail.
Birding continues around Bamboo, Riverside, Langtang village and Kyanjin, where Ibisbill may be present along mountain rivers in summer. The return crosses via Thulo Syabru, Cholangpati, Gosainkunda, Ghopte, Tharepati and Kutumsang before descending to Sundarijal.
This is a moderate high-altitude journey, reaching a pass around 4,650 metres. Duration is presented as seventeen days in line with the detailed itinerary; the exact use of lodges or camping, current price and departure are confirmed for each booking.
