About this tour

A half day provides a concentrated introduction to the birdlife near Port Douglas. Depending on the requested species, weather and current activity, Doug Herrington can work local habitats or head into the cooler highlands around Julatten and Mount Lewis.

Pickup is available in Port Douglas, Mossman or Julatten. The regular session runs from about 07:00 until 12:00, keeping the route focused enough to use the most productive part of the morning without turning it into a shortened fixed circuit.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges depend on notice: the operator terms apply a 10% fee at least eight days before the tour, 50% from seven to three days before, and 100% within 48 hours or for a no-show. Confirm final terms before booking.
