The Adolphus Myzomela is a small bird species found in the forests and woodlands of Papua New Guinea. It is known for its vibrant red plumage and distinctive black mask around the eyes. These birds are nectarivorous, feeding on the nectar of various flowering plants as well as small insects. They are often observed darting between flowers in search of food. The Adolphus Myzomela is known for its melodious and high-pitched calls, which are often heard in the early morning and late afternoon. Although not much is known about their population trends, they are generally considered to be of least concern in terms of conservation status.
