Alagoas Tyrannulet, Phylloscartes ceciliae, is a passerine of the tyrant flycatcher family found in eastern Brazil, where it is confined to the Atlantic Forest in Pernambuco and Alagoas. It was described in 1987 by Teixeira. The bird is a resident of forest remnants, including primary evergreen stands and older secondary growth. It is recognised by its long tail and the pattern of pale markings on the head and wings, with two clear wing bars. Its breeding season is thought to run from September to February, and it builds a globular nest with a side entrance.
