Alexander's Swift

Alexander's Swift is a small, fast-flying bird found in the highlands of Ethiopia. It has a dark brown plumage with a pale throat and a distinctive white rump. This species is known for its acrobatic flight, often seen darting and wheeling through the sky as it feeds on flying insects. It nests in rock crevices and cliffs, and its high-pitched calls can be heard echoing through the mountainous terrain. Alexander's Swift is well adapted to its high-altitude habitat, where it can be found in small flocks, especially during the breeding season.
