Alor Boobook, Ninox plesseni, is an owl in the family Strigidae found on Alor in the eastern Lesser Sundas. It was once treated as part of the Australian boobook, but bioacoustic evidence led to its recognition as a separate species in 2017. Described by Stresemann in 1929, it belongs to the order Strigiformes and is associated with the Australasian region. Its known breeding range is Alor in the eastern Lesser Sundas.
