Alor Myzomela, Myzomela prawiradilagae, is a honeyeater of montane Alor in the Lesser Sundas, where it is confined to a few upland areas. It is the island’s only Myzomela and is named for Dewi Malia Prawiradilaga. The bird is most similar to the Wetar myzomela from nearby Wetar, but it can be told apart by its calls and body form. It occurs in eucalyptus woodland, especially stands of white gum and Timor mountain gum, with wattles and sheoak. It has been seen taking fruit, visiting eucalyptus flowers and, at times, eating insects.
