Amaui, Myadestes woahensis, was a thrush of Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands and is now extinct. It belonged to the family Turdidae and was first named by Bloxam in 1899. The bird was confined to that island, where it lived in the upland forests. It is known from a lost specimen taken in 1825 and from subfossil bones. Its extinction was not closely documented, but it disappeared during the nineteenth century. The name comes from manu a Māui, meaning Māui’s bird.
