Amazonian Barred Woodcreeper, Dendrocolaptes certhia, is a passerine of the ovenbird family that breeds in Amazonia in South America. It is a bird of humid evergreen forest across the Amazon Basin, with a strong link to mature terra firme woodland. It also occurs in flooded and flood-plain forest, and is less often found in savanna forest, mangroves, deciduous forest and gallery forest. It is most often recorded inside primary forest, though it also uses forest edges and mature secondary growth. Its range is mainly from sea level to 900 m, rising to about 1,400 m in the tepuis of the Venezuela-Guyana-Brazil border region.
