Amazonian Grosbeak, Cyanoloxia rothschildii, is a passerine of the Cardinalidae family that breeds in western Amazonia in South America. It lives in the understory and along the margins of humid primary forest and tall secondary forest. This bird is the most widespread grosbeak in the Amazon Basin. The adult male is mainly dark blue, with a pale blue forecrown and wing areas, plus blackish underparts and some black on the face. The female is dark brown above and paler brown below, and juveniles resemble her. It was described by Bartlett in 1890.
