Andaman Crake, Rallina canningi, is a rail of the Andaman Islands in the Oriental Region, where it occurs in marshland within moist lowland forest and mangrove. It is the largest Rallina, with a glossy chestnut plumage, strong barring below, unbarred undertail-coverts, a bright apple-green bill, a fairly long fluffy tail, and olive-green legs and feet. The wing pattern is limited to the outer primaries and the greater and medium coverts. Juveniles are duller and less strongly marked. Its call is a deep croak, and it gives a sharp click when alarmed.
