Andaman Green Pigeon, Treron chloropterus, is a pigeon of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Oriental Region. It belongs to the family Columbidae and was described by Blyth in 1845. The bird is treated by many authorities as separate from the pompadour green pigeon complex. It is usually seen alone or in small groups. Its flight is swift and straight, with steady wingbeats and an occasional sharp flick. It feeds on seeds and fruits from many kinds of plants, and nests in trees in a stick structure that holds two white eggs.
