Andean Laniisoma, Laniisoma buckleyi, is a passerine of the Tityridae family found in South America from Venezuela to Bolivia. It lives along the eastern Andes, with records from Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. Its range is split into three subspecies. The bird has a long bill with a hooked tip, and the sexes are alike in plumage. Adult males show a black cap, an olive-green face and yellow underparts with black markings, while females are more heavily barred below. It inhabits humid primary forest and mature secondary forest, especially ravines, streams, moss and vine-rich areas.
