Angola Lark
Amirafra angolensis (Barboza du Bocage, 1880)

Angola Lark, Amirafra angolensis, is a lark in the family Alaudidae that breeds in Africa, with a range in Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania and Zambia. It is also known as the Angola bushlark. Its natural home is lowland grassland, including dry and seasonally wet areas in the subtropics and tropics. The species was first described by Barboza du Bocage in 1880. It was once placed in Mirafra, but is now treated in Amirafra, alongside two other species moved there after a 2023 molecular study. Three subspecies are recognised.
