Angola Swallow, Hirundo angolensis, is a swallow of Africa, breeding from Gabon and western Angola through the central and eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo to Uganda, western Kenya, Tanzania, northern Malawi and northern Zambia. It was described by Barboza du Bocage in 1868. It is found in open country and at the edges of forest, including altered habitats. Its forehead, throat and upper breast are deep rufous-chestnut, while the crown and upperparts are shiny steel-blue. The flight feathers and tail are black, and the tail shows large white windows.
