Ankober Serin, Crithagra ankoberensis, is a finch in the family Fringillidae that lives in western Ethiopia in montane rocks and cliffs. It is found on steep rocky slopes and high cliff-tops, with a range made up of separate areas in northern Shewa and the northern Amhara Region. The species was described by Ash in 1979. It was once placed in Serinus, but later moved to Crithagra after genetic work showed that the earlier genus did not form a natural group.
