Ansorge's Ground Thrush

Ansorge's Ground Thrush is a medium-sized thrush found in the forests and woodlands of central Africa. It has a distinctive olive-brown plumage with a white belly and dark streaks on the breast. This elusive bird forages on the forest floor for insects and small invertebrates, often remaining hidden in dense undergrowth. Its melodious song can be heard echoing through the forest, especially during the breeding season. Due to habitat loss and fragmentation, the population of Ansorge's Ground Thrush is declining, and it is considered vulnerable to extinction.
