Tachornis phoenicobia
The Antillean Palm-Swift (Tachornis phoenicobia) is a small, slender bird found in the Caribbean and parts of Central and South America. It is known for its distinctive swift and agile flight, often seen darting through the air in search of flying insects. This species has a short, forked tail and a slightly curved, slender bill. Its plumage is predominantly dark brown with a slightly paler throat and belly. Antillean Palm-Swifts are typically found in open habitats near palm trees, where they roost and nest.
