Pogonotriccus lanyoni (Graves, GR, 1988)
Antioquia Bristle Tyrant, Pogonotriccus lanyoni, is a passerine of the tyrant flycatcher family that breeds in north-west Colombia. It was first described by Graves in 1988. The bird is confined to the lower valleys of the Magdalena and Cauca rivers, with records from central Antioquia, northern Caldas, western Boyacá and northern Cundinamarca. It is mainly associated with humid evergreen forest and occurs from 350 to 800 m above sea level. It is thought to remain in the same area throughout the year. Its breeding season appears to run from March to June.
