Antipodes Parakeet, Cyanoramphus unicolor, is a parrot of the Antipodes Islands in New Zealand, breeding on the Antipodes Is. southeast of Stewart I. It belongs to the Psittaculidae and was described by Lear in 1831. It is one of two parrot species on the islands and is among the few parrots that live on the ground. Mice once posed a threat by competing for food, but they were removed from the islands in 2016, with confirmation in 2018. It can also take other birds, an unusual habit among parrots.
