Goodfellowia miranda Hartert, EJO, 1903
Apo Myna, Goodfellowia miranda, is a starling of montane Mindanao in the southern Philippines, where it is confined to moist forest above 1,250 m. It was first described by Hartert in 1903. The bird is the sole member of its genus and is also known as the Mount Apo starling or Mount Apo king starling. It has a long tail, a mostly glossy black body with white on the lower back, a loose crest, and a bare yellow facial patch around the eye and cheek.
