Apolinar's Wren, Cistothorus apolinari, is a wren of Colombia in South America. It belongs to the Troglodytidae family and was described by Chapman in 1914. The bird is confined to the Colombian Andes, where the nominate form occurs in Cundinamarca and Boyacá. It is linked to marshes and lake margins, especially stands of Typha cattails and Scirpus bullrushes. A second form, hernandezi, is known from the Sumapaz Massif south of Bogotá and lives in boggy páramo at much higher elevations, using Chusquea tessellata for nesting.
