Arnot's Chat, Myrmecocichla arnotti, is a bird of eastern Tanzania to north-eastern South Africa, with a further breeding presence in Angola. It belongs to the Muscicapidae, the chat and Old World flycatcher family. It is most often associated with miombo and mopane woodland, and also uses other open woodland with sparse ground cover. The species was first described in 1869 by Tristram. It is placed in Myrmecocichla, and the name arnotti is retained.
