Arrow-marked babbler

The Arrow-marked babbler is a sociable bird found in the savannas and open woodlands of sub-Saharan Africa. It is known for its distinctive black and white plumage with a striking arrow-shaped mark on its chest. These birds are highly gregarious and are often seen foraging in groups, emitting a variety of melodious calls. Their diet consists of insects, fruits, and seeds. They build dome-shaped nests in thorny bushes and lay 2-4 eggs. The Arrow-marked babbler is adaptable to various habitats and is known for its vocal and active nature.
