Fraseria caerulescens (Hartlaub, 1865)

Ashy Flycatcher, Fraseria caerulescens, is a bird of western, central, eastern and southern Africa in the family Muscicapidae. It occurs across sub-Saharan Africa, apart from the drier parts of South Africa, Botswana and Namibia, and uses dry forest, moist lowland forest and savanna. It is mostly grey, with pale grey or white underparts, and males and females look alike. Its small, narrow, pointed bill suits an insect diet, though it also takes berries and small geckoes. It is active, feeds alone or with others, and breeds in solitary pairs.
