Ashy Woodpecker, Mulleripicus fulvus, is a woodpecker of Sulawesi and nearby islands in Australasia, including Mantehage, Lembeh, the Togian Islands, Muna and Butung. It is a bird of the Picidae family and is found in northern and southern parts of the island group. Its breeding range covers these islands, with one form in the north and another in the south. The species is linked to tropical lowland and montane forest, especially closed woodland, though it also occurs in secondary growth and forest fragments in savannah.
