Asian Brown Flycatcher, Muscicapa dauurica, is a passerine in the flycatcher family Muscicapidae and breeds across central and eastern Asia, extending to India and south-east Asia. It is a small bird with a relatively long tail, and the bill is dark, broad at the base and fairly large. The upperparts are grey-brown, becoming greyer with age, while the underparts are whitish with brown-tinged flanks. Young birds show scaly brown upperparts, head and breast. It nests in tree holes and the female incubates four eggs.
