Atlantic Plain Xenops, Xenops minutus, is a passerine of the Furnariidae family found in eastern and south-eastern Brazil, eastern Paraguay and north-eastern Argentina. It is a resident bird of forested country, using both the interior and the margins of several woodland types, including lowland tropical forest, semideciduous forest, mature secondary growth and gallery forest. It is a monotypic species. Its bill is wedge-shaped, rather short and slightly turned upwards. Adults show a pale supercilium and a broad white stripe on the face, with plain brown upperparts and cinnamon wings and tail.
