Atlantic Royal Flycatcher, Onychorhynchus swainsoni, is a passerine of south-eastern Brazil in the family Onychorhynchidae. It is confined to the Atlantic forest, where it occurs in humid lowland woodland, including both intact evergreen forest and regrowth. It is a midstorey bird and is believed to stay in the same area throughout the year. Its most striking feature is a large erectile crest that is seldom seen. The species was described by Pelzeln in 1858 and is monotypic.
