Azara's Spinetail

Azara's Spinetail (Synallaxis azarae) is a small, slender bird found in South America. It has a distinctive long tail and a brownish-olive plumage with a pale throat and belly. This species is known for its secretive behavior, often remaining hidden within dense vegetation. It forages for insects and small invertebrates in the undergrowth of subtropical and tropical forests. Azara's Spinetail is typically found in lowland and foothill forests, as well as shrubby areas with dense vegetation. Its population status is currently not well-documented, and more research is needed to determine its conservation status.
