Azure-winged Magpie, Cyanopica cyanus, is a crow family bird that breeds across eastern and central Asia. It lives in coniferous and broadleaf woodland, and also uses parks and gardens in some eastern populations. It is close in shape to the Eurasian magpie, but is slimmer, with smaller legs and bill. The head is black above and the throat is white, while the body is pale grey-fawn. The wings and long tail are azure blue, and the tail tip is white.
