Neafrapus boehmi
Böhm's Spinetail (Neafrapus boehmi) is a small, insectivorous bird found in the forests and woodlands of central Africa. It is characterized by its long, slender body, short wings, and distinctive forked tail. The plumage is predominantly dark brown with a slightly paler throat and belly. This species is known for its aerial acrobatics, often seen darting through the air in pursuit of flying insects. Böhm's Spinetail builds its nest in tree cavities or crevices, using plant material and saliva to construct a cup-shaped structure. While not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and deforestation pose potential risks to its population.
