Band-bellied Crake, Zapornia paykullii, is a rail in the family Rallidae that breeds in eastern Siberia, Korea and north-eastern China, and moves to south-east Asia and the Greater Sundas outside the breeding season. It was described by Ljungh in 1813, who named it for the naturalist Gustaf von Paykull. It is now becoming uncommon because its habitat is being lost.
