Banda Sea Monarch, Symposiachrus mundus, is a bird of the monarch family found in the Tanimbar Islands, with its breeding range also including Damar and Babar in the far eastern Lesser Sundas. It is part of the passerine order and was described by Sclater, PL, in 1883. The species was once placed in Monarcha before being transferred to Symposiachrus in 2009. It occurs in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and in subtropical or tropical mangrove forest.
