Banded Antbird, Dichrozona cincta, is a passerine of the antbird family found in south and west Amazonia in South America. It is the only member of Dichrozona and was described by Pelzeln in 1868. The species lives in evergreen forest, especially terra firme away from waterways, where the understorey is open and leaf litter is plentiful. It is almost wholly ground-dwelling. Its breeding range covers southern and western Amazonia, including parts of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.
